Environmental Intelligence Summer School

Second edition of the International School in the field of Ambient Intelligence, dedicated to the digitisation of natural environments.

The event aims to provide society with a vision of the different approaches to the natural environment in terms of access to useful information using new tools.

The event will take place on 19, 20 and 21 June 2024, at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Edificio E (escuela técnica superior informática), organised in cooperation with the WATCHPLANT and SMARTLAGOON project.

Practical information and travel details

Getting there:

Valencia International Airport: we show you various options to get to the city.

  • Taxi: simplest and fastest option. The taxi rank is located in front of the arrivals terminal. The taxi ride to the city center via the fastest route and with normal traffic conditions should take a maximum of 20 minutes (fee is around 20-30 EUR).
  • Metro (lines 3 or 5): you can take it on the ground floor of the regional flights terminal, it leaves the airport every 15 minutes from Monday to Friday between 5:00 and 23:30 and every 20 minutes on weekends and on holidays from approximately 7:00. The journey to the center stop (Xàtiva) takes about 25 minutes (ticket cost 3.90 EUR, bought at the machines located in the area where you take the metro).

There is also the option of car rental, in the T1 arrivals terminal you will have several companies that provide this service.
